The Colorado Big Balloon Build
The Big Balloon Build is held in a few cities across the globe each year with the intention of supporting a local children's charity in each city. This summer, it was held in Greeley, CO at Aims Community College and 75 balloon artists were selected from around the world to participate. The Joy of Balloons was lucky enough to be chosen! Each artist pays their own airfare and lodgings and a fee to participate and donates a week of their time to build a unique and immersive balloon world. The proceeds from this event went to support Life Stories Child and Family Advocacy which raised $130,000 to help abused children and their families. Not only did we help the children of Weld county, but we also raised awareness across the world about the prevention of child abuse. Enjoy the photos of the build below.
